Italian producer Freedust is all about the funk-soul and the breaks blended with some lighthearted vocals that makes a sound that’s is both classic and new. The sounds of Freedust is just the type of music we can’t resist here at BBP - so when Mako & Mr Bristow brought forward their epic big beat remix of My New Sunglasses - we did not think twice to get all over this project.

To complete the package we brought in 2 veterans in the funky breaks scene: BadboE & Dj B- Side to do their funky thing on a party-breaks remix.

My New Sunglasses is the title track of Freedust’s debut album from 2021 by the same name and features some classic grooves and some sweet vocals from Swedish singer Lisa Widmark.
On the remix front Mako & Mr Bristow has captured the essential samples of the original and added some big bouncy beats and made it their own. BadboE & B-Side has brough the track to the dancefloors with some ghetto vibes and human beatbox beats.
